Dr. Chris McKowen, D.D.S.

Dr. Chris graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2003. He joined his father at their current location on Stewart Street just weeks after graduation.

Dr. Chris enjoys volunteering his dental services through his mission work in Mexico or Nicaragua every year. He also volunteers monthly at the local downtown Kitchen Dental Clinic to serve those in our own community. Dr. Chris also enjoys the outdoors including camping, hiking, backpacking, and canoeing.

Dr. Spencer Friedrich, D.D.S

Dr. Spencer Friedrich was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and grew up in Pryor, Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma where he graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology-Biomedical Sciences. Upon receiving his DDS from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2011, Dr. Friedrich practiced general dentistry in Tulsa, Oklahoma until he joined McKowen Family Dental in 2017.

Spencer and his wife April, live in Springfield with their son and daughter, Landon and Lily. In his free time, Dr Friedrich enjoys spending time with his family, lifting weights, hunting and all things college football.
